Ҵý Enters Agreement to Acquire Property Management System Cenium

By acquiring Cenium, the Ҵý Hospitality Cloud aims to implement Ҵý’ technology across the full Nordic Choice Hotels portfolio of 200+ full-service hotels

[Amsterdam & Oslo – 2 February 2022] Ҵý, a leading cloud-based property management system (PMS), has announced the intention to acquire , a hospitality technology company owned by . The acquisition will reinforce Ҵý’ growth across Northern Europe, with the Ҵý Hospitality Cloud now being rolled out across the entire Nordic Choice Hotels portfolio of 200+ properties. Current Cenium customers can also migrate to Ҵý.

The acquisition includes the products (Cenium 6, Cenium Core and Cenium Commerce) as well as the Cenium team who have deep-rooted expertise in hospitality, and more specifically the Nordic region. This knowledge will demonstrably impact the growth of Ҵý in the region as the company continues to make the Ҵý Hospitality Cloud one of the fastest-growing hospitality technology companies. Additionally, Cenium capabilities will be merged with the existing Ҵý product portfolio to create one of the most powerful property management systems on the market catering to the Enterprise segment.

As part of the acquisition, aims to implement Ҵý’ technology across the full Nordic Choice Hotels portfolio of 200+ estates. This will help to modernize and transform the experience for more than 15,000 Nordic Choice staff and millions of their guests. The partnership will enable Nordic Choice to leverage the Ҵý Hospitality Cloud in their Comfort Hotels®, Quality Hotel™, Clarion Hotel®, and Clarion Collection® Hotel, plus any of the 40 stand-alone hotels in their portfolio across Scandinavia and the Baltics.

The Nordic Choice Group has selected the full range of features in the Ҵý Hospitality Cloud including Ҵý Operations, Ҵý guest experience software, Ҵý Payments, and Ҵý Open API. 

 

Cenium is headquartered in Oslo, Norway, and the acquisition is expected to close by March 2022. This is the fourth PMS that Ҵý has acquired in the last two years, with , , and already successfully joining the Ҵý Hospitality Cloud.
